Joe Biden Admits Son Is "Crooked" with Unprecedented Pardon
Critics say the Hunter Biden pardon is unjust and an admission of guilt
Spot some bias? Here’s why…
In a shock reversal, Joe Biden has granted his son Hunter full presidential immunity ahead of his federal court sentencing.
Joe Biden announced he’d given Hunter a “full and unconditional pardon” for any federal offenses he “committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024.”
The near-unprecedented pardon comes despite insistence he would not shield his son from justice. The reasoning for the sharp turnaround is the realization, in unusual retrospect, that the trial is supposedly for political reasons.
The claims of political persecution ignore that Hunter Biden actually pleaded guilty to the charges. They also forget it was Biden’s own Department of Justice that pursued the cases. Finally, they dismiss how the prosecution even attempted a plea deal just to stop Hunter Biden’s crimes from seeing a courtroom.
Some legal experts believe theyd only begun to scratch the surface of criminal wrongdoing. This is reinforced by the fact that Joe Biden’s pardon covered not just the cases he says were “political” but any action his son took in the last decade.
The reaction from Democrats ranged from instantly defensive to utterly dismayed.
They’re still reeling post-election and can’t believe they’ve been put on the backfoot again.
Powerbrokers and top figures deflected as best they could, opting for a familiar “But what about Trump…?” style of defense. They also tried to romanticize the blatant abuse of executive power with bland words about a loving father.
“I will not pardon him,” Biden said time and time again. It’s a promise he made that Democrats now argue was never meant to be taken literally.
“The president does believe in the justice system and the Department of Justice. And he also believes that his son was singled out politically,” the press secretary repeated.
Biden critics argue this White House position is serious Orwellian doublethink. It was not enough to stop the fallout. Despite frantic calls to Democrat lawmakers, there was a bipartisan backlash to Biden’s pardon backflip.
Sen. Gary Peters (D-Michigan) called the pardon “an improper use of power” just hours after the announcement. Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colorado) further added that it “erodes Americans’ faith that the justice system is fair and equal for all.”
Still, it was the words of Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-Washington) that stuck with many Americans. She said Biden had made the wrong decision because “no family should be above the law.”
“It’s unfortunate that, rather than come clean about their decades of wrongdoing, President Biden and his family continue to do everything they can to avoid accountability,” said the House Oversight Chair James Comer.
Critics wonder what sort of person needs an entire decade of their life to be shielded from any criminal charges.
The Biden administration maintains it has nothing to do with any actual criminal behavior or unsavory dealings.
The question Republicans are asking is simple. Biden claims that Trump will fabricate some reason to pursue his son, and that’s why he needs an all-reaching blanket pardon for the past ten years.
But by this logic, what’s to stop Trump from “fabricating” something from eleven years ago?
They argue Biden knows full well a president can’t simply make up a federal court case. So, what happened specifically in the past decade that Biden needed to hide?
After all, the jury was still out on Hunter and the whole family. That is, until Joe Biden picked up a pen with one shaking hand and ordered them to pack their bags.
Now the Biden family is free to spend their well-earned money in peace, free from prosecution for crimes they definitely did not commit.
Good to know the justice system is working the way it’s supposed to.

In case you missed it, the biased lense for this was pro-Trump, anti-Democrat, anti-Biden. If you're confused why I'm writing all these erratic biased articles, I'll reply to this comment with a linked explanation.
TLDR: I'd say the lasting message of this article is the criminality of Biden and his family and the obvious lack of justification for their actions.
How did I craft this narrative? Well, there was a lack of dissenting views. For example, I didn't quote any of the prominent Democrats that came out in support of his decision.
I also misrepresent the views of Democrats, through statements around how Biden's promises were "never meant to be taken literally". Then there's an increasing slide to personal opinion throughout the article, drawing you in with a somewhat objective opener and sliding further into biased conjecture.
All in all, it was a very fun piece to write. Check out my other article on the Hunter Biden pardon for a very different take on events.

This familial pardon is no surprise. Instead, it confirms that life-long politicians acquire, legally or illegitimately, wealth, power, privileges and immunity*. They don't care about democracy and voters. Who can still believe in the electoral circus?
*this applies to the crimes Hunter Binden might have committed or have taken part in
